Cascade Rescue Company announced today that after final review by Underwriters Laboratories, their Professional Series Stainless and Titanium Litters have successfully passed testing for certification under NFPA 2008-2012 edition. Testing was conducted according to the new ASTM Methodology Designation: F2821-10 Standard Test Methods for Basket Type Rescue Litters. This methodology is the first of it's kind to exist and will ensure all litters being used by Firefighters and other organizations concerned about safety, quality and the strength of their equipment meet stringent guidlines. The standard will also drive increased quality within these types of product lines for those manufaturers wishing to obtain the NFPA Certification. Cascade Rescue Company is pleased to be the first manufacturer to have submitted product to UL and to have passed the new ASTM Standard for NFPA Certification.
